On townfolk and death - Update

Well, two out of three baby birds are still alive. My city friend was up all night feeding them pureed yellow jacket larvae, which he got from a nest he shook down just for that. And he actually found an organization that will take the chicks and raise them. I have to say - I'm officially impressed. He actually put his money where his mouth was. As I said earlier - a very decent human being, we need more of those. I hope he'll move to the country one day :))

Hey, I'm impressed too! I like people that follow their convictions and put them into action, whether I fully understand/agree with their views or not. I've known people like your friend who, with infinite patience, work towards changing the world one xxxx at a time.

Course, while your busy helping the baby birds, the other livestock are starving, fences are falling down, bugs are eating the garden... :)

But I do like the guy. :)

That's what I was thinking, too - helping little birds is a luxury I probably couldn't afford even if tried. Still - impressive. I hate people who make a lot of noise about something and then always too busy to do something about it.
